When I got Riley at age 6 months, he was 6 pounds. He is now about 13 months and about 13 pounds!

He is not fat though. He is tall and has a very long body.

My question is... when is he going to stop?

How much longer will he keep getting bigger, and at this rate, how big do you think he will get?

p.s. please move to appropriate forum, if this one isn't correct..

Usually figure about full grown by 2 yrs for a medium cat; 3-4 on a larger cat. If he's not fat at 13 lbs - I'd guess he will probably top out at maybe 14-16 lbs.

He'll start slowing down the growth/weight now, so just keep an eye on things - maybe weigh him once a month.

Charlie is a solid 10 1/2 lbs now (feels like 11+) and he's almost 18 months. He'll be full grown at 2 yrs old and probably go 11-12 by then.
