You're in my prayers, Heidi. I'm expecting a very positive report of an uneventful, and most importantly, successful procedure! We'll be looking forward to Earl's update!

I'm I'm calculating the time differences correctly, you should either be in surgery now - or out of it already. I didn't know if the time you mentioned was the time you needed to be at the hospital or the time of the surgery. Either way - I'm really hoping there'll be an update when we get back from the Doc in a couple hours!

I keep watching the clock, too. It's now almost 1:30 p.m. Colorado time, and I imagine Earl will be at the hospital for several hours after the OP.

Earl forgot his password,

I came through the surgery just fine. Dr. told Earl it went great, They took about 4-5mm of bone out and even with Vicoden it still HURTS. But it is a different kind of pain, and for the first time in 5 months, my wrist doesn't hurt.

Thank you for all the thoughts, vibes, and prayers,
I know it helped keep me calm and not so nervous.

Heidi, I just saw this thread. I wasn't online hardly at all the last few days!
Anyway, I'm sending you lots of heal quickly My friend just had surgery on her arm after a couple years of having really bad pain with it. She said the same as you. It hurts but it's a totally different pain and she's already happy she had it done!

YAY! Oh Heidi - I am SO happy for you! I'm sorry you're still in any pain - but thank GOD your wrist doesn't hurt like it did!
Now let's hope it stays that way - and that you heal up super quick and are PAIN FREE!
