Here is our newest addition to the "family"...
We adopted her from my coworker/friend. She is moving to a subdivision with a rather busy road and feared that her cat would get hit by a car there since she is used to 2+ acres of land to roam away from a main road. Rob & I have 1.5 acres of land, plus 3 of his parents' acres behind us. My friend begged and pleaded with me to bring the cat home with me because she didn't want to bring her to the SPCA or try and offer her to any old person at work. Rob and I are all sorts of softies, so we took her in. Now comes the fun of introducing her to the resident 6 month olds. Monte doesn't seem to mind all that much, he likes to sniff her, Katina doesn't wanna know anything about this. The new one is mainly in the bathroom, but we've let her explore the bedroom a bit too.
Our new fur baby is 1½ years old and was originally named Pocahontas. Her new name will come to us
