Does anyone know what those 2 words mean? (don't google it....
) Let's see if anyone out there knows what they mean. I'm positive there are some out there who know the answer.

Clowder is a passle of cats and as far as I know, to kindle is to start a fire. Do they have other meanings?

edit: I suppose kindle would actually be more to start something. Like to rekindle an interest?

Kindle is an old fashioned term for a litter of kittens, or as a verb to give birth to a litter of kittens, the same usage as 'whelp' for dogs.

Ding Ding Ding!

Clowder is a group of adult cats and Kindle is a group of kittens!

I got this little tidbit in my Catnip newsletter. It's something I never knew and I thought it was interesting enough to share.
