Once again, the "Guess Nat's foster dog's breed!" Thread!

I have an "educated" guess on what he is....but wondering what everyone else thinks!

You can see he has a small "mass" on his front right shoulder

This shows his true coloring, no flash, he's really that dark

He's really not that ferocious....he just looks like it. He's quite beefy, but walks like a dream on the prong. I'll try him outside next time on just his collar. Knows sit for sure....inclined to say he knows shake & down also.

Definitely has to be some Rottie in there! He is adorable, I LOVE him!!!!!

I'm going to go with Rottie-Boxer mix.
He's a cutie!

Unfortunately, yes....that is what we suspect he is. They call them 'warlocks' the are the ultimate fighting machine.

Now, he's always been treated well, but still.....we'll probably never list him as what he is. We will not withhold the info from approved adopters, but won't openly advertise him as that.

That is, unless we can come up with another viable/likely breed he is. He most certainly looks like an Am Staff x to me!

That stinks! He is so adorable. What is his disposition? Was he a surrender?

I hope he gets someone to call his humans!!

He was a stray......very clearly not really a stray though.

Their loss was our gain, he's a wonderful dog. Plan to take him to Petco with me....actually trying to decide between him & the 3 legged coonhound we've had up for adoption for awhile..... He's that well behaved.

Awwww....bless him. I sure hope he finds a furever home.

You can really see the Rotti in his face and the pitty in his body can't you!!! He's very cute and sweet looking though! I hope he finds a great home soon. There is a pitty at an animal shelter near me that I desprately want but I have to have my own home to adopt her

New pics of "my boy".

He's liking this whole "fetch" game!

He'll set the ball in my lap & wait for me to throw it again!

He lays down waiting for my throw...

Got it ma!

Check out the "tough" collar I bought him today

He went to town on this rope toy

And this is what he thinks of the cats!

I'm cropping a bunch up, trying to decide which ones to use on Petfinder....I think he'll be up for adoption Mon or Tues.

That's actually PJ! I think. Yeah, has to be PJ, face is too square for Dorky....and Dorky's a mess right now, he's sick as a dog. (Hence no pics of him in the catnip banana thread, his eyes are snot)

I am going to say that this one is probably a 'loose' mixture of Rott, Pit, and Lab...possibly some Boxer; definitely he is of the 'bully\\working' breeds!! Looks like a really nice guy...

PJ & Dorky are both my buff kitty boys. They're a bit hard to tell apart sometimes.

Dorky's had a flare up of herpes....he's been awfully snotty looking the past few days. Woke up this AM, he looks purr-fect!

Hope he stays 'puurrrfect'!!!

How is Jack doing?

Do you still have the 'kitty chaser' (name is escaping me)? How is he doing?

Jack is my kitty chaser. I probably never told you his name.

I wanted to leave Jack tonight, but no avail. We needed to move 4 dogs tonight, so he had to stay.

Ahhhh...I see...well, he's darn cute, that's for sure...and it looks like he is doing quite well then huh? Maybe just needs some time to adjust and a bit more 'reminding' of his training...

Jack went back today. I can't handle him at the moment with the cats, school, volunteering, & work. And he almost got ahold of Fafeena outside. She's 14 years old....she hasn't got any fight left. I'm still not sure how or when she got out of the garage.
Oh dear....not very kitty friendly huh? Oh well, someone will adopt him that doesn't like kitties either!!!!

That's the thing. He is cat friendly, just a bit too much. All he wants is someone to play with him. The kitties are not impressed with that.

Tomorrow they're gonna find him a friend, canine friend, at the shelter. That'll be much better for him than my kitties. You should see how shredded his face got, though. I feel bad, but he kept sticking his face in Ophelia's.....and he never did learn.
