Yeh, I know this thread sounds strange but it is actually quite funny!
Did any of you know that the tabby cat was named after a word called Atabi, which is a type of silk that has a striped pattern and is made in Attabiah in the Middle East.
Because tabby cats had coats with the same kind of pattern they were named after the Atabi silk.
