Jeanie G. - How is Taylor John?

Jeanie, we haven't heard from you for quite some time about little Taylor. I remember he had a relapse, but don't know if I know what happened after that? I do remember he was going home with an apnea monitor.... but don't remember if this was before or after the relapse.

I've kept him (and you and the family) in my prayers. How's the little guy doing?

Laurie, You're so kind to ask. Little Taylor is still on the apnea monitor. He has had a number of incidents, some of which made it necessary to take him to the emergency room. Some babies grow out of this problem (the flap not closing, accompanied by regurgitating and an inability to breathe), and some children have to have surgery. His parents are better equipped to handle it now. It hurts me to think that my young son and his wife have this constant worry, but all we can do is watch him carefully and put him in God's hands.

Jeanie - we know of two people who had this (or a similar) problem. One had to have surgery - one grew out of it.
