My husband and I are thinking about having kids within the next year or so, and I was wondering about the experiences others have had with regards to cat behavior and proper introductions when a new infant enters the equation. I know the basics of not leaving children alone with animals, thats a given... but I have to admit I am a little worried about my furry family and how they will react to a baby... I know that Miles is terrified of small people, mostly because most kids who have come to our home, consistently run to the big fluffy white kitty and proceed to attempt to pick him up and snuggle with him (which he hates), I always have to put Miles in a separate room to protect him lol. Has anyone experienced cat jealousy or contempt to a little one? Have your cats accepted the presence of your child, or simply not care one way or another. Just curious
