For some reason I'm drawing a blank today while working with Excel.
I'm making a chart and can't remember how to change the labels on my chart...

I've been working with Excel for YEARS but for whatever reason, my brain isn't cooperating today

Sorry Alycia, I suck with Excel..I only use it for my budget and vacation calendar. No labelling required

Hope you figure it out!

Did you figure it out? Don't you just double-click the label? I'm definitely not a whiz with Excel and haven't worked with a chart in ages.

To add data labels to a data series, click the data series.
To add a data label to a single data point, click the data series that contains the data marker you want to label, and then click the data marker for the data point you want to label.

On the Format menu, click Selected Data Series or Data Point.
On the Data Labels tab, select the options you want.
