Excuse me for being so late in announcing the winner; there has been an electrician in the house turning the power off and on and I do not have one of those new fancy shmancy wireless electronic devices.
Today's question proves two things:
1. The first answer is not always right which I continually remind you of.
2. The newbies can compete well with the oldies and have jumped off into the lead.
You are today's winner
and soon 2850
points will be deposited to your bank account.
After a little research it appears that at one time the correct answer for the maximum smilies was indeed 12. But now if you put a bunch of smilies in your post (don't send it, use the Preview Post button) it will give you a warning if you use more than 17 smilies.
Yes, that is what the arrows are for in the upper right hand corner, to increase or decrease the window size.
Finally, I hope noboby actually tried to count all the smilies. (Actually, I'm lying.
) Just do a "mouse over" of the [More] under the displayed smilies and it gives you the answer!
