I need help fast.

well i have a issue since i own a skate shop and i am there with him all day there is a part of the skate board on top of the board called the grip tape it is sand paper to make you stick to the board better to avoid falling off but my ktten has started chewing it and he cut his tounge i took him to the vet they fixed him up but i cant keep him from chewing the grip tape and there are boards lying all around the shop and i am afraid that he will cut himself again any suggestions?

You could try "setting him up" with one with some bitter apple or tobasco sauce on it and let him learn that it's not cool to chew on those.

He might be teething - maybe it would be best to find something else for him to chew on. Sounds like a fun place for a kitty. There's a husky that lives in our local skate shop!

I just thought of one idea but it would be a challenge for you...
re-organize your shop so that your kitty does not have access to grip tape.

yeah he is a little burmese that hises when he isnt getting any attention and thanks for the help i will try it but i am afraid it will make him be afraid of skate boards all together but yeah the regulars at my shop will sometimes bring toys

At our shop, the boards on display don't have grip tape on them...that gets put on later; could you do that?

It is critical to Ringos safety, that you find a way to resolve this problem.
Out of his sight is the best way. That might even mean behind closed doors.

I suspect that you are very cleaver and will come up with a creative solution that you and Ringo can live with.

the shop wouldnt be the same without him running around ill just but a bin where you put boards in when you walk in so he cant get to any grip tape can belive i didnt think of that before lol
