Back in December, I sent an article about my parents's 65th anniversary to the Dallas Morning News, and they're finally getting around to printing it this weekend, in their Plano "NeighborsGo" section. It's also available online for the next few days:

We get a little supplement thing here and they had a story a couple weeks ago about this couple that eloped when they were 17. They are now in their 90's and live together in an assisted living/retirement community. It was so sweet it had me wanting to get all teary!

Aw, thank you guys, I'm touched that you all went and read it! My folks haven't seen it yet, actually -- the paper won't come out until Saturday, and I thought it would be more fun to let them find it themselves. After that, I'll show it to them online.

GK, since I'm having my surgery tomorrow, I won't be able to get out on Saturday to procure extra copies. The editor told me the NeighborsGo section will be stacked up free for the taking at all Plano Starbucks locations, so I'll have to send my brother or my mom out to snatch up a bunch of extras we can mail out to family.
