Hi,
my kitty is 5 month old and teething quite a bit. I want to get him a toy to chew on. What type of toy is safe for him to chew on?
I don't want him to ingest any harmful chemicals from chewing toys so I need something safe. TIA

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
We just used boxes of bendy straws. The plastic is tough enough they can't chew it apart, and they all seemed to love them. Just throw straws that are pretty well chewed up away.

my girls were not so into any of those pet stages toys. I spent to much money trying many different toys while they were teething. Finally, the man who works at our local pet store gave us the best suggestion! Take a piece of cloth or an old clean towel, tie it into a knot, wet it then freeze it. Once frozen, if your kitty is anything like mine...they'll love it.
Good luck!
