The school had it up for auction, and since the legislations are changing so we have to go digital soon anyways, I figured why not. And then I kept getting out-bid, and figured I would put in a last ditch bid just to see what happened, and I won! I was wavering a little on getting it, but I guess its mine now!

It will be a nice replacement for my little 20" TV that looks so small in my living room right now.

I'm glad you think the winning price was okay - I'm terrified that I might have overpaid for it! But I'm kind of excited now, at least until I tell my parents how much I just spent.

naw, I think that's a good price for a used 38". Hope your couch isn't too close to where your TV sits!

Haha, yeah, I might need to do a little rearranging. My little 20" fits fine in the corner between my piano and the window, but this one probably won't. I'll make room for it though! Just need to grab a strong guy or two!

Congrats! $210.00 is a good price for a TV that size. I do hope it works though; it says "condition unknown" I find that a bit alarming.

Thanks! I was a little worried at first about buying it online, but this is a surplus auction from my school, so the most likely scenario is that they just got a better model to replace it. I should be able to pick it up next week!
