I would like to try to grow a little pot of catnip but I'm not sure where to get seeds. Do they have them at petsmart or petco, or do I need to order some online?

Any growing tips?

You can get them at Target, Walmart, or your local home improvement/hardware store. I am going to get a couple of "rose pots" (really shallow pots) and do some catnip and some cat grass.

Don't fertilize them too much and do let them dry out a tiny bit before watering again. They are super easy to grow. I have to plant them in hanging pots otherwise every cat in the city comes and chomps on them before they can get growing.

In the Fall, I cut the stems off and hang them upside down (in the basement) to dry. The kitties eat the dried leaves all winter.

Oh, and our cats LOVE the different types of catnip, but don't care much for the cat mint. Your kitties might be different, though. Have fun!
