The weather is so cold and nasty here today I decided I wanted something hot, spicy and yummy.
So it's homemade chili, taco chips and cheese...

It's been cooking in the crock pot for awhile and it smells fantastic

So what's on your menu.

Haven't a clue! Maybe I should just come to your house. I think I can smell your chili all the way out here, and boy does it smell good!

Well, couldn't get a flight, so I put a pot of chili on myself. Thanks for the idea. It was just what the doctor ordered!

today has been a really long day....the entire house is packed up right now and i'm out of most groceries as we're moving soon (supposed to move today, it didn't happen) so it's about 11pm here at the moment and Colin's supposed to be bringing me home Krystals for dinner when he gets off work. I'm starving!

Thursdays are not conducive to preparation of a proper dinner. But I needed food. It was a couple of European weiners and a couple of slices of crusty bread and butter with Vegemite. And, for a catch as catch can, it was pretty good. I rather imagine DH had Golden Arches. He usually does on Thursday.
