Last summer John got really sick. He had a fever, sore throat, swollen lymph nodes, headache, dizziness, cough that wouldn't go away and a few other symptoms. He was stubborn and did not want to go to the doctor. He said it was just allergies and that he'd be fine. This went on for over 2 weeks before I finally convinced him to go. He had tests run and was diagnosed with Epstein Barr Virus/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. The doc gave him a shot and put him on antibiotics for a week. I HATED those antibiotics, they made John a completely different person, he was grouchy and so paranoid... he thought everyone was out to get him. I'd wake up in the middle of the night and he would be staring at me, when I'd ask him what was wrong he'd say someone was after him... once it was Doctor Who that was after him
.
Anyway, John picked up that truck on Saturday and overexerted himself like he's not supposed to do. Now he's having another bad flareup, same symptoms as before. He was in bed all day Sunday and Monday, worked yesterday, but stayed home again sick today. He didn't want to go to the doctor again but has been convinced a lot quicker this time and has an appointment for 4:45 this afternoon.
I was hoping maybe he can get some magical TCS "feel better" vibes, and that there's nothing more serious going on than just a flare up of his CFS.
