I'm trying to find the right collar for my cat, I don't like any of the stuff Ragtime Pet Collars has right now and I also don't like the Buddy collars, I love the fact that they stretch but none of them are the right color.

Are there any other good sites to check?

Have you tried going to Petco or Petsmart? I got Lily a collar from Petco, and I love it. Its got a little rubber band that makes it stretch if you pull it.

I prefer the stretchy rubber bands over the plastic buckles that just pop apart when you grab the collar because then it just stretches instead of coming off.

Me too, they have the collars that pop apart now but I want to switch to some stretchy ones.

Have you seen Beastie Bands? They come in dozens of different patterns, and many of the patterns come in different background colors. They're soft & stretchy all over, and fasten with Velcro. They're the only collars that don't cause my cats to lose hair around their neck when worn long-term. http://beastiebands.com/beastiebands.html click on the 'retail' link at the top of the page to find brick & mortar retailers in your area, or you can buy them online - click the 'links' link to find online retailers.

Just an FYI about the Ragtime collars... if you don't see what you're looking for fabric-wise on her site, email her with what you want and she'll do her best to go find it for you (at no additional cost!)... I just wanted plain royal blue for Oliver (it's "his color" lol) and she went out and got 2 different kinds, took pics and emailed them to me to see which one I wanted... yeah, it was a pretty simple request, but she'll try to find just about anything... I love Ollie's ragtime collar! And the break-away buckle she uses does work the way it's intended to work

Oh, yeah, I wanted a certain pattern for a Christmas collar for one of my cats and she went and bought the pattern and made it
She really is awesome. But I don't like break-away collars anymore anyway:/

After you cut the beastie bands, are they still adjustable? Or are you stuck with whatever size you cut it to? Just wondering if they are the best option for a growin kitten.
