In the game Portal one has to carry around a Weighted Companion Cube though an entire level. At the end of it one is forced to toss it into an incinerator. Needless to say when I was going through the level I got attached to my Weighted Companion Cube, and was rather upset that I was forced to "kill" it.

Play the game. It's got a very unique sense of humor.

I just read about it and it sounds pretty cool. May have to look for a used Orange Box for the PS2

Bummer, I so mis-read it. It's for the PS3, windows or the X-box... none of which I use! We have a PS2 and I run MacOSX.

Yea, if you are playing on the PC, I believe add on levels are in order. Also, user generated levels are already out. Search for those.
