This weekend on Sunday I went to my parents house for a few hours. Well I left Henri out when I went so I shut the bathroom and bedroom doors because I didn't really want him in those rooms. I guess when I shut the bathroom door, Trinity was hanging out in there. When I got home, I was met by a screaming cat in the bathroom. I opened the door right away and she came bolting out! Boy was she mad at me too. She wouldn't let me touch her for several hours (I just wanted to apologize!) and then for the rest of the day and all day on Monday, she refused to come in the bathroom with me (probably scared I would shut her in). The bathroom is normally one of her favorite places to get attention though. She has still been keeping her distance from me somewhat. I feel horrible! I am sure that in a few more days she will be completely back to normal, she sure does have a good memory though.

Have you ever done something that your cats held a grudge about?

That's funny you mentioned that about the bathroom. Why is that. My Maggie will only let me hold her when I am in there. She comes up and does the one paw stretch, if I don't pick her up she will jump up. The she throws herself on her back and wants to be rubbed. Now if I am in any other room of the house she won't let me hold her at all. Until bed time and then she has to be next to me. It's just funny how they get set in their ways.
