So glad I found this thread though it is a few months old. I have posted pics of Angus before but I like thread.

I also must add that after having Angus for almost a month I am absolutely in love. I had heard Cornish Rex cats are lap cats and very people oriented but the full realization is finally taking hold. He is glued to a human almost all the time which is almost dangerous to him as he is SO underfoot! So far nothing worse than a few mashed toes.

He has even taken to sleeping with us. Not that we had a choice. We have a very high bed and once he got big and strong enough to jump/climb up the side we didn't really have any choice about it. And he wants to be under the covers up against us on top of everything.

I know I pretty much only post pictures of him asleep but he really doesn't sleep all the time, it's just the only time I can get a decent picture of him since he moves so quickly and my camera is a little old and slow.

In these pictures he is almost 13 weeks old.

I still can't get over how different US Cornies and Devons look compared to the UK types. It's as if they are completely different breeds! The US Cornish are much more extreme than ours (which have a straight profile) and the US Devon has completely different ears than the UK breed standard. UK Devons you notice the facial shape above anything else, the ears are not large.

With the UK Cornish, Radar is very very close in type both bodily and facially to a purebred Cornish, his face is a touch shorter but not by much at all. UK Cornish look pretty much exactly like my Radar but with curly coat.

I don't know what's the standard and all that, but I just think Murfy and Givi have the most darling little faces! I just want to smoosh them and kiss their little noses!

Absolutely, I love both US and UK types and would happily have either to share my life with. I don't consider one to be better than the other, and the personality is very similar on both sides of the Atlantic. Just that I am always surprised by how the breeds have gone in different directions, probably largely due to our until recent very strict quarantine laws which meant there was no crossbreeding between US and UK cats. We are still outcrossing Cornish because the genepool here is so small, the breed pretty much died out in the UK for a while! Which is a real shame since it originated here.

I was hoping you would post an updated picture of Murfie, one reason I posted on this thread. I love to watch kittens as they grow.

Hi wellington, i dont think i can show her even if i wanted too. She had a little run in with her cat carrier and sliced the top of her ear a little bit so it kinda hangs, and right now she's all scabby (see my "scabby cat" post)

Ok sure, I'll bite on this one
Here are my two lovelies...Bob and Bonnie Bumfuzz. They are new parents too. Bonnie is registered and is Devon/Sphynx cross. Bob unfortunately is not registered, but they're both so beautiful and Bob is the reason we got Bonnie...we were addicted to the breed after 2 days of having him.
