He's a large kitty to start with....13 lbs. is an ideal weight. But, yes, he needs to go on a kitty diet. Just not sure how I plan to do that.

Updated pics of Squishy!

Looking smug

I swear he's getting fatter every day! I have restricted his portions of food, which started fighting over food.
I think I need to get him vet checked to see if this isn't a thyroid problem....not sure what he weighs, but it's too much! His belly is very solid, too....at least he carries it well....I mean he races around playing a lot. He's fairly active for an old fart!

His face is kinda ripped up still. But it's not from fighting....he & Molly tackle each other & play very rough. He squishes her. I realized his name fits really well!

Unless someone steps forward & adopts him, I have no choice. And no, it's not my choice, either.

If he's diabetic or has thyroid issues, I might have to euthanize him, but only time will tell. I will see who I can beg into takin ghim, as I cannot keep him forever or he will kill Ophelia(or vice versa)

He'll at least die loved & with me.....not alone after living in a cage. I do plan to treat him as long as I can & keep him as healthy/comfortable as I can so long as he & Ophelia can remain marginally peaceful, but the thought that he may have to be euthanized is always something on my mind.

I swore he was dead today he was sleeping so soundly. He's just so darn old, I'm always worried he's gonna die on me sometime.
I'm terrible with such old kitties.
