Ok, Computer gurus: Avatar contest

We are thinking about updating the supply of avatars available for members to use. If you would like to design a cat avatar and post it here for consideration, we are accepting donations! Remember, the maximum size of your custom image is 50 by 50 pixels or 20000 bytes (whichever is smaller).

I hear this could be a CONTEST with PRIZES....... Get busy designing!

The avatars can be computer graphics, resized pics, or a combinations of effects.

By the way, I think if our esteemed artists here would like to use pictures posted on these forums that would be cool - just make sure you get the picture owner's permission first (I'm sure that would be easy enough to obtain). The Caption This forum would make an awesome source for pictures (again, please get the permission of the member who submitted the picture first).

And while we're on the subject - please make sure you're not using any copyrighted material. I don't think I see any problem with what was submitted so far. There are lots of free to use cat pics collections going around and the best way to make sure is use one of your own photos.
