Does your cat do the water dance?

Fang always does a little dance before he drinks. He loves a fresh bowl everytime and then paws the table with his front feet. Pansy does it once in a while, and Spike never, but Fang, everytime.

Quill does that!

He loves water and will literally spend hours watching himself and playing in it. I need to get a video of it though, it's so funny.

Very cute. Blossom doesn't, she used to tip all the water bowls out (the ones in the shower) & watch the water go down the drain.

Awww no mine don't. I change their water twice a day because Sophie and Jack dip their paws in and bits of litter get in it, but when i go to put fresh water in Sophie walks with me and cries for it

Mishka does that with her food and water every time!! i actually posted a question on here about why she might be doing it... and i was told that it may be an instinctual behavior left over from when wild cats had to bury their leftover food and come back to it and "unbury" it to eat!!! makes sense i guess!

Pepper doesn't do it with her water bowl, but after I get out of the shower in the mornings she always jumps in the tub and paws at the drain.

Furrari does that with the water bowl. I had to buy a new bowl with a rubber base to prevent him tipping it over. Every time he gets a drink I can hear him scratching at the mat the bowl sits on.

Tiger likes to dip his paws in the bowl then lick the water off his paws. After he gets done, he gets water everywhere!
