How about a Celtic name for him?

Got this off the Internet:
Fiontan - might be "white ancient" or "white fire."
Kenyon - "white or blond hair." Kenyan.
Alvie - from the Celtic for white
Shane - (H) "gracious gift of god, god is gracious."
Hi Robdog!

I LOVE Alvie! That gets my vote!

Wow thanks for the great response guys! I'm not Celtic btw I live in Northern Ireland I'm the other half.
I quite like the name Casper or Milo. What does Milo mean? Kalikat said it was the opposite of snowy??
I like Milo because that was the name of the dog in 'The Mask' with Jim Carrey which i watched over and over again as a kid, it was my fave film. But i also like casper for some unknown reason it just feels right.
Anyway keep the names coming!
Robert.

After reading the rest of the posts, I like Aspen.

Milo is a chocolate drink similar in texture to freeze dried coffee that you mix in milk or put on icecream.

Robert,
I would go the opposite and name him Midnight, Salem, Dusky, etc. Of course, you could call him Mr. Garage or Garage Guy!
I don't think the cat in Winston's picture is pure white.

I like the name Aspen or as whitecatlover said, something non-color related.

What are people from Northern Ireland called? Celts must be from the south? (sorry to sound dumb!)
I know that it's named after casper the ghost thanks for the link lol.
In Northern Ireland we're about half catholic half protestant. Celtic tends to be more catholic. My parents are protestant but I'm neither because i was never christened.

Would you be Gaelic then? Pardon the dumb questions from an American who doesn't know that much about your history.

If you found him in your garage, what about an automotive type name? Do you have a favorite car brand? One of our members named his cat Holden, after the car marque in Australia.

To be honest I don't know what I am lol I'm not into catholics and prodestants, celtic and gaelic i just everyone the same. I was never christened for some reason so i don't fall under any catagory. And I'm not the most well informed member of the community about N. Ireland and it's goverment or anything. Sorry I can't really help lol

Be totally different - name him "Inky"

We had a white rex named Spooky - people thought he was black with the name till they saw him
