22 forums.... 15 per forum for starting 5 for posting, so the total is

336 since fur pics is one point for posting a comment otherwise it would be 440

We had a game a couple of weeks ago that ran 8 hours without a winner.
It was a game that involved math.
Today we have no winner and math was involved.
OK, this is going to take me some time to explain.
The hint I gave is the key to everything.
Go look at What's New Pussycat. Now scroll down and look in the lower left hand corner.
It says you may post new threads. It says you may post replies. If it does not say this, then you cannot do it! It also says Points Per Thread and Points Per Reply will give you five points each. So, ten points for this forum. But, when you look at the next forum, looking in the lower left corner you find that you get 15 points for starting a thread and 7 points for replying to a thread. So all you have to do it go through each forum and look in the lower left corner and tally the total.

But there are a few gotchas! The first is in The Cat Lounge. When you select this, three sub-forums are available. These are to be counted because the question stated all open forums. But wait, one of these forums is not open, the Caption This Picture forum cannot be counted because it is closed. The next gotcha could be Cats and other Animals as it also has a sub forum, Pet Pics, so these are also to be counted. Scrolling on down the next gotcha is Announcements. This forum is closed and therefore cannot be open or counted. Now, go back and do your math again and you will come up with the verified answer of 406. If you make me, I will step through forum by forum to show this but I am hoping one of will now come up with that answer. (Another member has already verified this number.)

That's twice in a row that a math related question has stumped you. I will be careful not to use any more math in the future. Until next time, that is.

LOL I almost had it... I just counted announcements and counted one twice for some reason.... I didn't even notice that I couldn't post in announcements, just saw the amont for posting... LOL
