A United North America?

How would you like to be a member of the United North America?

It looks more like an annexation of Canada by the U.S. to me, but what do you think?

Now, why would Canada want to be part of our problems - such as gangs, higher crime rate, higher teen suicides. And would they respond well to our correctional system??
but, I've said, since my first time visiting Ontario,CAN (not Ontario, Calif), if I ever have to leave California, I'd be okay if I could move to Ontario. I grew up in a mining town and quite a few kids were "Canooks" - in fact, my former husband was one. Some of my classmates and I still retain our use of the expression, "eh?".
And what about Mexico??

I think Canada has it going on and that they wounldn't want to deal with us. (I don't blame them!)

Why would either country want that? Seems we have totally different ideas of how to run a country and neither would want to change it. It would be nothing short of a disaster for everyone!

Mexico already thinks we have an open border and economy to support them. They are like the lazy uncle who wants to crash on your couch for a week and then ever leaves. As soon as you try to assert that it's YOUR house, they get mad. (I'm referring to the country/government, not individuals from Mexico.)

But it is interesting that that "organization" completely ignores Mexico even though they are part of North America.

"If English Canada and Quebec can successfully and peacefully share one country, then cannot Canada and the United States do the same?"
What does this have to do with uniting two countries government?
What is the great benefit of this?
Why is this even presented as a credible link?

why would we want canada down here? gee, people that that us eh? all the time already drive me nuts..
anyway, the plans is for a Economic Block of the US, canada, and mexico are already out there, and was already singed on to by the 3.

many see it as the only way to compete with the EU.

until 9/11 they where trying to remove all signs of border both north and south.
a united north america is coming.

I have a bit of trouble understanding your post and what you are trying to say, but I do believe there will be a merging of the currency. About three years ago a friend told me that when the Loonie and the US dollar reached parity we would probably end up using one currency only for both the US and Canada (probably called an Amero) much like the Euro.

I hope before the leaders of our 2 countries do anything they allow us to have our say. I do not now or ever want to be part of the US. Nothing against you folks as neighbours but I do not like your health care (or lack thereof) nor politics to just mention a couple.

Those were some of the things that impressed me the most when I visited Ontario, CAN. Also, I met a couple whose daughter & SIL had moved to Michigan to give it a go down here, and they were all appalled at how little childcare providers were paid not to mention the lack of esteem in which they were held.
