You should be able to remove this while it is still warm. Might have to put another container (glass this time with water in it) back in microwave to reheat????

Take a MICROWAVE safe bowl and fill it with some vinegar place in microwave and nuke. The vinegar will moisten it up just enough to be able to wipe it clean and it'll neutralize the burnt plastic smell.

Uh, well I was about to ask why you took the bowl to the bathroom, then figured I prolly really wouldn't want to know!

First time I used my hubby's microwave, I went to soften butter but it was in a foil wrapper, not a paper one. Set the foil and butter on fire. He still married me.
So, why were you going to bring the 7 Up into the bathroom?

LOL! I set a pampered chef vegetable steamer on fire in the microwave. The vegetables actually fused to it.
And you should have seen the smoke.

My sister later told me that Pampered Chef stuff is indestructable.
I sure proved that claim wrong.

If you want a cool microwave trick, take a 4-prong compact flourescent light bulb and a glass of water. Put the bulb so that the prongs are in the water, and put the glass with water and bulb in it into the microwave. Run the microwave at regular power for about 30 seconds and see what happens. Now run the microwave on defrost for about 30 seconds. Notice anything different??

i can't tell you how many other things were put in the microwave to see if they could cause damage without getting charged for damages
