Last night I woke up to hear a cross between a snore and a purr coming from Beauty.

Last night was the first night she had been in my room for a few nights. (She probably only came up so she could sleep by the heater!
)

I've caught Forest snoring a few times. Mostly, though, it's DH who snores, but Tailer and Forest think he's purring and they purr back.

That is hilarious
Tailer & Forest are prob. thinking, "Wow - he's got a Master-PurrBox"

As for Beauty, I guess a snore-purr is the princess way of purring

HI!
This is a wierd thread!

Well my cat Dusty snores while she's sleeping , very quietly but when she is in a deep sleep she snores quite loud!

One night she was sleeping on my pillow next to me and she actually woke me up with her snoring!

awww so sweet!

xthanksx

When Arwen snores, it sounds like she has a squeaker up her nose!
Every time she breathes in, you get a long squeak that sounds like a whistle.

Zebra does that too. It is cute, but can get annoying when you are trying to watch tv and she is sleeping on you and snoring.

Lilly snores...it's kinda like a squeaky dainty girl-like snort/snore.

My RB cat Lambert also snored. He was LOUD, perhaps because he was a large male Maine Coon. One night I woke up and he and my husband were both going at it - Husband would snore, then the cat, husband then cat. I left them both on the bed and went to sleep on the couch.
