Yowza!~ That must've hurt. I share your pain. I have a lot of nicks on my lap from my kitty jumping on me while I work on my comp. Unfortunately, I learned too late that spandex does little as a barrier between skin and claws.

I've done it to Lily and she looks at me like I'm nuts! Tanzie, my sisters cat who is more layed back, will kick with her back legs if you dont stop when she tells you too.

It's not at all funny what has happened but I couldn't help but give the "oh no giggle". I knew what was going to be said. It is painful as we all have experienced at one time or another but I like you..sometimes you just gotta try to see what happens.

We only have to be told once.

You can come blow on my babies they would probley love it, I have never tried, guess I never got the urge, but they would never scatch or bite! My ragdolls are very true to the breed charactoristics (too much some times
)

LOL! I know it isn't funny at all but the tooting made me laugh before I could stop myself, sorry!

My cats know they are forbidden to get in my lap at the computer if I am wearing the Nike running pants the slippery ones. They are very big cats and not at all agaile or graceful, some weigh 13-17 or so pounds and dumb as posts (well honey was and millie definately is) they just slide right off (they fall off the bed some times too)

I'm lucky Mia is more of a pacifist cat, the other nite i kept kissing the top of her head and ears, apparently she wasn't in the mood for all that so she just walked away from me. The only time Mia will take a swing at me is if I try to rub her belly she'll grab my hand like she's saying "No No don't that" and then she' rabbit kick me no claws until I get the point.

This is a little embarrasing, but I have to admit to making rassberrys on a kittens tummy (like a month ago
) He was just so cute, I couldn't resist. Well I got a good scratch on my lip & a couple on my chin. Oh well it was worth it to see his cute little face.

Must be something about big grey kitties. My Levi will let me do that to him, actually he will let me do just about anything I want.

I'm so sorry, I couldn't help but laughing when I saw your post! (Then I ran to my cats and blew on their belly...they stared at me like I was an idiot, but didn't scratch me (lucky me!)) I hope your scratch doesn't hurt too bad, though, I was just laughing because you tought about doing that, not because you got hurt. Heal fast...and no more blowing on your belly's kitty!

Ow!

Stimpy will let us blow raspberries and rub his tummy. Nabu lets Mike (my hubby) do anything to him, but I have to be careful--depending on his mood I will get a chomp or a scratch for the same thing.

All of my kitties love getting their bellies petted. With the boys though that is pretty much an honor bestoyed only on me as they really don't let Matt do it to them. I have never tried to blow on any of them though. I do commonly kiss their tummies however.

Trinity will do the rabbit kicking thing (no claws) too when she has had enough of the belly scratching.

Isn't that the most imbarrassing thing!!!! People ask "Oh my gosh what happened!!!!" Then you say something like "oh....nothing really....I blew on my cat's tummy."
I know how you feel, that's for sure!

I blew on my kitties tummies as soon as I brought them home. I don't why people get the urge to do things like that but I couldn't resist. They didnt mind at all

haha, my BooBoo would never tolerate that! I have tried, but it didn't go so well! However the boys are pretty good about razberries, but their still young so theres still a chance they could whoop up on me later!!
