Help for collapsing kitty tents

You know those kitty tents, that our cats love, that seem to be always collapsing? I found that if I cut a piece of cardboard the same size as the bottom of the tents,and place them inside,that they stay up much longer....and the cats seem to love to sharpen thier claws on the cardboard too. (Of course it needs to be changed out every once in awhile when it gets too ragged,)

Thanks for the tip!!! Takoda and Magnum love to jump on top of them and squish whoever is inside. I'm always walking around their room opening collapsed tents.

I think this is probably a common thing.

My bengals especially love ambushing the unsuspecting cat that is "hiding" inside the cube/tent. I am forever picking up flattened cubes and tents and popping them back open!

But hey - I figure that's half the fun for them.
