Omar doesn't criticize his father and says Osama bin Laden is just trying to defend the Islamic world.
Kinda says it all to me. He is living in a dream world if he thinks that the US will stop short of OBL's surrender. Too much water and dead bodies under that bridge. I do commend his attempt but it won't fly.

he just got tired of hiding out in cave. According to the story he is a trained terroist. He should be in jail

Ha, I love this part.

"It's about changing the ideas of the Western mind. A lot of people think Arabs — especially the bin Ladens, especially the sons of Osama — are all terrorists. This is not the truth," Omar said last Friday at a cafe in one of Cairo's new shopping malls.

I do NOT believe him for ONE SECOND.

I think anyone who does is a complete and total idiot.

In a different article I read he actually said something about how he would like to get Bush and his dad to sit down together and talk. Like THAT is going to happen.

Sorry, son. I want your old man's head on a stake. I'd love even more to have five minutes in a locked room with him.

I remember a few years back Peter Bergen said in an interview that one of his sons was with him in Afghanistan on 9/11. I don't know if it was this son or not. The reason he left was not because he disagreed with his father but because he thought he had went to far because he had opened up actual combat with the U.S. I think he agrees completely with his father's goals just not the tactic of a direct hit like 911.
