It's been a rather traumatic couple of days...

It started off with me scheduling an appointment to get my electrolytes checked again (per another doc's request) and to talk to my primary doctor about my dizziness/falling problems.

I kind of stumped my doctor but he decided to order an EKG stress test just in case... I failed it.

That sort of thing apparently upsets doctors so I ended up admitted to the hospital yesterday - just discharged a short while ago.

They took a lot of blood to check for possible causes - all clear. CT - guess that was fine too, and I was hooked up to a monitor for 24 hours (a little longer actually). Nothing much showed up on that either, but the cardiologist that seen me recognized my symptoms. So for the time being I've have been diagnosed with orthostatic intolerance (no surprise) - I can't remember the name for what kind, I was a bit eager to learn I'd be out of there soon.

I've been told to increase fluids and wear compression stockings to see if that helps, and I'm to schedule a tilt table test - that will probably narrow down what is going on a bit better.

...does anyone know how to get those sticky pads off of me? They're all over my chest and something tells me a shower isn't going to be enough.

On a slightly funny note, I woke up last night from a bad dream that they were coming to take more blood.

EDIT: never mind.. I found I can pry those things off, even though it hurts!

Hehehe! I bet that was a nightmare. I'm glad you atleast got a diagnosis! That's half the battle.

Ow! You could've tried the orange degreaser, maybe that could've work.
