I have always loved "creepy crawlies" ever since I was a kid.I love them and touching them does not bother me.

I just can't belive that. I scream when I see one of those things in our basement!!! I don't have the heart to kill it or any of the spiders though. It's an unfinished basement that only has our washer/dryer, so I'm not down there much. Plus whoever is killing off all the crikets is my best friend. Do millipeds/centipeds eat crikets?

Is your African frog full size or a dwarf? I have three albino full sized ones in a 29 gallon tank. . . They get big! And they eat any fish you might put with them.

For some reason I was thinking you meant kids and other skin family members! Boy was I surprised to see a millipede! They are all very cool looking.

Millipedes are basically vegetarian. They eat plant matter, organic materials and fruit/veggies.However centipedes are predators and will eat crickets in captivity,so it is very possible there are centipedes in your basement (ideal spot for them) eating the crickets.

My African frog is the normal size one.The clawed species. She is housed in a 29 gallon.I know they can get big,I used to have a couple LARGE albino males and another female over the yrs.I actually have a few minnows in the tank with her,but she won't touch them...so they just chill out.

I like the African clawed frogs a little better then the dwarfs.
