Here is ONE way of finding the answer: I used the Search button above (I did not use the advanced search because if you try and use the number of replies that won't work.) Because many more people vote than reply. So, I tried a number of things but when I put in Post: male female I got what I wanted. I expected to get 76% as an answer but that is not correct. 76% is the percentage of voters that voted on this but note that multiple voting was allowed for this poll. So what you have to do is see who was actually a woman (95) and who was a man (8) that voted. And 8+95=103. To get a percentage you divide 95 by 103 which is 92%. I expected this contest to run eight hours like the math problem the other day, but pipersjo found it AND solved the problem in exactly ten minutes!

A note of interest: In August 2005, a similar poll was run and the number was 86% women. Then in January 2006, the number was 89%. So the women keep taking over.
