Need Advice about our Apartment and my Cats

We Signed a 6 Months Lease yesterday and today they called and made us take all our Cats to the Office for Pics. They also want teh Shot Records which I do not have. We got them at the clinic far away. We have lived here 2.5 years already. Can we break our lease if they cause problems? We do plan on buying a House by the Summer. We made a deal to have 4 Cats when we moved here too. Meeko also is Sick and we had to take her there with a fever. All my cats stay inside too. They are trapping any Cats that are outside and giving them to the pound a kill shelter.

have your vet fax the old vet for the records! It shouldn't be too hard really! I dont know about breaking the lease though, Im pretty sure they can charge you rent regaurdless if you do! Good luck!

I have all the records from my old Vet. Its the ones from the low cost clinic in the Bay Area i do not have. I do not wnat them to get double Shots.

Unfortantly your leasing office will require these documents proving vacc. as any leasing office should. The pictures I assume are so they can identify trapped cats. My office also does this and we're renewing this week so I'll have to take Frankie's paper work in when we go to sign (they don't know about Wickett). They've never offered to take pictures though or asked us to bring the cats to the office?! I assume you've already done so but if not I'd offer to take the pics yourself and bring those in instead of the cats.

Any one can break a lease but be prepared to pay at LEAST 2 months rent for doing so.
