My back's been bothering me for a few days. Not a huge deal, I've had back problems for years, but I'm very stiff and sore in the mornings. This morning DH was out shoveling snow when it was time to feed the cats their breakfast. So I got up to feed them, but since I was stiff and sore I was moving pretty slowly. Well, Forest got under my feet, and him being none too stable himself, he tripped me when I was going down the stairs. I fell, and slid down the stairs on my side.

So now, in addition to the sore back, the entire right side of my body...from my toes to my shoulder...is purple and red with bruises and rugburn. I must have hit my head, too, because I have a big lump.

Needless to say, Forest didn't care. He just stood at the bottom of the stairs and yelled at me to feed him.

Poor you. I know how you must feel. Just b4 new years I had a fall in the supermarket from water all over the floor. I did the splits, something I've never been able to do, & went spreadeagle down the aisle.

Im sorry, thats not suppose to be funny, but it is! You worded it so well!!

Im sorry to you both!! That couldn't be very much fun!!

My mom tripped over a cat about a year back and fell down the steps and now her left buttcheak is about twice the size of the other one! Talk about ghetto booty!
