OMG - I shouldn't even post this because it's not really a cat toy, and if your kitties actually eat little fuzzy things, then this toy is NOT for your cats.

Even though as adults my family doesn't really send christmas presents, my dad usually sends out some weird little toy. This year he sent something called "Magic Wigglees." He meant it for our entertainment. It's a fuzzy worm (this one is hot pink - which as a toy color attracts our cats like flies to honey), and you're supposed to tie this clear finishing line thing to it and make it look like its moving around on its own on your hand or whatever.

We peeled the glued-on eyes off the thing and tied its long "nose" to a string attached to a pole, so an improvised wand toy. It's light, so a little hard to throw around - but the cats went COMPLETELY INSANE.

Shelly, who has never grabbed a toy and run away with it, grabbed the thing and BOLTED. He was doing flips to get at it - as were BOTH Tuxedo and Lazlo! And they love Da Bird - but not like this!

The only problem is that it ISN'T a cat toy - and if they've got it in their mouth or holding it down with their feet dug in and you pull it out, some of the furry stuff it's made out of comes off little bits at a time. But our kitties don't eat it, it just makes the floor messy. But if your kitties eat stuff like that, I do NOT recommend this.

I wish I had a video camera - because this is just too much!

I found them on the web (we're going to get more!
) - here's a link: http://cgi.ebay.com/Magic-Wigglee-Wo...QQcmdZViewItem

Shelly's been grabbing at it, dropping it, tossing it around with his paw the whole time I've been typing this. Wait until I make it move for him!

They DO look creepy on that website! I didn't notice that. They're kinda cute in person. Maybe it's the eyes - I took them off so the kitties wouldn't accidentally swallow them.
But they really wiggle around - especially when the kitties play with them with their paws and throw them around.

I bought two of these just for my cats BUT they really are not for cats.
Takoda went crazy as soon as I opened the package. He bit it right in half in less then 3 minutes.
I didn't even have time to try it out and see if we could do any of the tricks.

I tried keeping the other one safe but he caught it in mid air and ripped every bit of the long nose thing right off. All that was left was the body and he just kept pulling on the fuzz.

We had to throw them away because of how easy he destroyed it.

Yeah - I can see they might not last very long. That's why they're definitely not for some kitties.
Ours is missing some of its fur, but it's still good to go.

Sampson and a few of my not so enthusiastic kitties (we will not name names
) would have enjoyed it as well.

Ah, yes, didn't even have to look. There's one draped over the lampshade in our bedroom, that Santa put in the two-legged cat's stocking a few years ago. For some reason our four-legged felines don't prowl the night tables, so they haven't noticed this "creature", but I can certainly see them going bananas if they ever were introduced to it as a toy.
They do wiggle incredibly well, don't they?

I'm sure mine would love it, but since the first DaBird feather lasted all of an hour, I'm sure they would destroy that thing in no time flat. They are great at trying to eat things they shouldn't.

Oreo's favorite toy for the moment is an old mouse tied to a piece of yarn they tore off a ball I bought them, tied to a coat hanger, sticking out of a chair. Let me tell you, it's been almost 2 weeks that its been there, and he's still nuts over it. And the pet toy company thinks we need to spend 100s of dollars to make our pets happy. The best toys are the ones that were either free, or $1.
go figure!
