eating habits changed

I have an 8 month male buff tabby who is very active and has always njoyed eating (soft and hard). Recently, he has started refusing to eat the soft food . I have also noticed that he has a few sneezies here and there. I do want to note that when I got him from my vet, he had contracted a really nasty respiratory infection which lasted for what seemed forever! Does anyone have any ideas about what may be going on??? HELP! Jackie

Not necessarily - mine never wanted dry initially - but now will choose the dry over the wet anyday. As long as still eats plenty of the dry he will get the nutrition required. Sometimes like humans over time they start liking one thing better than another. My experience is that if his he had a cold and his senses are impaired he would choose the wet over the dry since it has a much more flavorful oder. You did not mention that any of his other habits changed so I must assume that they did not. If he eats enough of the dry, drinks, plays, sleeps, pees and poops I would not worry. Just in case just keep an eye on him for the moment. Best to you and your baby!!
