What is everyone having (already had) for dinner tonight? Colin is getting some Subway for us to eat on his lunch break and he's going to bring it home so we can eat together
I'm getting a 6" subway sandwich with ham, provolne, and spicy mustard. I didn't really feel like anything else- not feeling so great tonight, so i'm extremly glad he's picking up dinner so i don't have to cook
(well, that and i seriously need to go to the grocery store
we're out of almost everything
)

What are you having for dinner tonight?

OK, now, don't hate me
...

I often cook on Sunday evenings. So I stretched myself a bit today. I made roasted rack of lamb seasoned with a Moroccan spiced rub, cous-cous with sauteed veggies, raisins and almonds, and a green salad. We had a purchased, but VERY good, carrot cake for dessert.

We did chicken burgers. I also really wanted Tostidos and salsa, but we were out of the tortilla chips

So instead I did a baked potato and covered it in salsa and cheddar cheese.

Had these leftover lasagna rolls filled with ricotta, proscutto ham, and spinach. For dessert I had this absolutely YUMMY brownie filled with chocolate chips. My mum was feeling sad yesterday because a friend of hers had passed away, so to keep herself pre occupied she made all of these wonderful dishes.

I was lazy and ordered from Domino's. This is the last night that I eat food that I ordered-- this is the 3rd night in a row
. Last night was a celebration, but I need to stop it before I blow my budget even worse!

Sunday night at Mom's!! Had this pork chop and scalloped potato number, new recipe, and even though I'm not a fan of porck chops, it was really delicious! I also ate about a pound of brussel sprouts, gonna be paying for that later

Oh, that sounds yummy! Ummm...what exactly is cous-cous?

I made salmon cakes with maccoroni and chesse and stewed tomatoes. I haven't made them in years but they turned out pretty good. The cats loved licking the counter (have I mentioned I am a VERY sloppy cook?

We ate at my mother's house tonight. (Actually all afternoon)

For lunch we had hamburger soup. It was soooo good!

Dinner was a pork loin roast with cranberries on top, oven roasted potatoes and fresh baked bread. Oh and some sweet potatoes too. Dessert was a chocolate mousse pie. I just love Sunday dinners at Mom's!

I had like one bite of a cabbage roll (my boyfriend ate the rest because I wasn't hungry), mashed potatoes and a bit of corn. I got hungry around 9, and went to pizza pizza and got a stuffed sandwich.
It was the first time I ever had a stuffed sandwich and it was like a panzerotti just smaller.

It is a Moroccan style pasta - tiny little dots of pasta that cook really fast - kinda like an instant rice. It's really good. I get the whole wheat kind which has a nutty flavor. Went well with everything else.
