Where can I get a special clipper for Beauty's claws? I don't really want to take her to the vets just to have her claws clipped - I'd prefer to do it myself.

Do you have to get the clippers from the vets or are there specialist shops I can get a pair from?

I bought a pair of claw clippers from Petsmart, but I don't use them, it's far easier with Seamus to use the human nail clippers... he squirms so much and it's just so much faster to use the human clippers.

I do all mine with human nail trimmers as well, just hold the nail trimmers sideways against the claw, unlike how we do for our nails.

I use human clippers, too. I am afraid to cut off too much, so I just snip the first bit. These clippers work fine for that.
Plus, I have to work quickly to get one done!

Most pet stores will carry the cat scissors type. I usually get my cat grooming supplies at shows as they are a little cheaper.
