Alright, who can guess this breed?

The first of the breed was named Susie.

The breed started as a mutation.

The mutation is dominant.

They are considered sweet tempered and intelligent.

These cats resemble a fox.

They have an agouti coat.

They've been known to love water.

The coat is usually one to three inches long.

I knew that one! And I know they love water by Mosi's efforts to get in the shower with me every morning

Okay, let's try another one. I try to make them hard but all of you know your breeds!

Often known as being "dog like"

The first import on record to come into the US was 1954

They are elegant and "finely boned"

Their silky coats rarely mats

Thanks - was thinking cornish rex at first (first 3 describe them) but then the silky fur not matting - cornish have waves and its velvet. But first rex was born in 1950 - so was not sure then the first cornie actually came to America

Maybe its because I'm a...
I'd always thought Mosi's expression in your siggy looked strangely familliar, and I've just realised my Archie gets that look too! Usually when he's about to start madly running around the house and leaping at shadows... he's a bit of a daftie too
