An unexpected expense

So my cell phone has not been working right so I took it to US Cellular to have them look at it. They said when I went down to SC I was using Sprint towers and my phone was stuck on them so I wasn't getting service at home. OK. They fixed it and my phone was getting excellent reception untill...Snickers knocked it into the toilet. So I went back the next day to see what they could do and they told me that I was only 8 months into my contract and that I would have to pay retail for whatever phone I got. They were all expensive so I figured I was going to get one that I liked regardless of the price. I picked out the Samsung R610 and that set me back $300. I was so mad!!!!

Oh well, this phone is so much cooler than the last one.

Wow! They didn't even offer another year of contract for a new phone?! Once your contract is up I would look for a new cellular service.


That really stink

Yeah I know, but they are the only one around here who gets good service everywhere. Plus, I work and live in the middle of nowhereville. But I learned my lesson and purchased insurance, which DOES cover water damage.
