Bengals are notorious for being playful, and for finding their own means of entertainment when bored, alone too long, or say, when their owners are sound asleep.
This morning I got up to find that Max has apparently discovered that unrolling the toilet paper roll CAN be fun.
Fortunately, he didn't unroll TOO much of it, but he did decide to talk about it quite loudly at about 6 a.m. He even came in my bedroom to tell me all about what he thought of it. LOUDLY. I feigned sleep, of course, until my alarm went off and I got up to go to the bathroom, whereupon I made today's discovery.
I just removed the stuff he'd unrolled and left the rest of the roll on the loop - my roomie was due to get up a couple of hours after I left the house, so I figured instead of just starting to keep the rolls somewhere other than the holder, I'd let my roomie discover Max's new toy on his own.
That way there ought to be no argument later when we can no longer keep the TP on the holder like normal people. Sometimes making an adjustment like that can be very difficult for a man over 45. (Old dogs, new tricks, yada yada.) So I need to let it be HIS decision to make.
I wonder what I'll find when I get home from work tonight...
