We had our cat BB spayed almost a year ago and everything went fine, after she recovered she never showed anymore signs, but for the last 2 days she has been showing the signs again. She is rubbing on everything, being very loving, which isn't her, walking around calling out, just like she did when she was in heat. Could something else be wrong? She is 1 1/2 years old, great health, very playful. If she was just calling out I would think something is wrong, but she is rubbing on the walls and everything like a cat in heat does, she stays low to the floor. Once a cat is spayed that is it right? Please help!

Well I thought about that, but she was spayed back in June of last year and she just started acting this way 2 days ago.

She could have a cyst that grew in the area causing a false heat. That's what happened to Ling - about a year after she was spayed. They had to reopen her and found out.

You should talk to the vet that did it and see what should be done - she may have to have surgery again. My vet only charged 1/2 the cost - IMO they should have paid for all of it.

Welcome to TheCatSite.

I would take her to be checked by your vet.
Better safe than sorry.
Let us know what you find out.
