A little background. When I met my present wife seven years ago, she had a most horrible cat. She told me she was taking care of it for her daughter. It was such a horrid cat that it was never allowed indoors. We kept it until it died a couple of years ago. So much for that. Then her daughter did a very wonderful thing. She saved a cat from being killed in the animal shelter. One problem. She had no place to keep it. "Mom, can Alley come stay with you for a while?" A while has been over a year and she now says she does not want to uproot Alley from Persi but would like a new kitten. So we bought her Shelby for Christmas. But daughter had to go to Costa Rica and nobody to take care of her new kitten. Tomorrow DW is leaving early in the morning to deliver Shelby to L.A.. I will tell you this: I am not going to remove Shelby from my pictures of cats that I own. I give this six months tops before Shelby is shipped back to us.
