Here is where I have been occupying most of my time. My latest project- think a big bad ol biker dude would like this for his pool cue? I am hoping he does. Next step is to add color to this pit viper.

Thanks Kelly!

Nope you didn't scare me away- did you try to?

Between working on the two websites, writing and scrimming, I don't have much time left to answer all the posts, though I try to help with the important ones when I can.

I have 7 pool cues to scrim and 12 butt plugs....hee hee- that term still cracks me up! But then, I am easily amused...

Since I have no idea what you do, I can only hope that we're not talking about adult toys! When you start buying engraved ones, you've gone too far!

I don't think this is what Hissy had in mind when she started this thread... I'm such a bad girl!

Yes you are! But then I left the door open when I said that part about the butt plugs. I have heard that term so much from the maker of these pool cues and he always says it so matter of factly, but it always makes me smile. So maybe I am bad...

YEESH! I found a snake in my house last fall and freaked out. It was just a baby (maybe 4-5 inches long) but I got so scared I ran and got Ed and tossed him on top of it. He thought I had given him the greatest new toy and slapped at it a couple of times before it got away. When I realized how hysterical I was behaving I felt like a fool. Good thing I have a big, strong cat to protect me, eh?

Snakes look cool, but they freak me out. But your scrim is beautiful, Mary Anne.

Bill likes snakes. I gave him a choice: me or a snake. He decided that I'm a lot cuddlier and besides, a snake can't cook!

Mary Anne, you really did set yourself up for that one!
I've never heard of the term, but then again, I'm not a pool player. I'm assuming it is part of the cue? Perhaps the part you're customizing for this guy?

Is this the same man who had problems with the shipping? Whatever happened with that? Did the insurance company finally pay up?

(I know, I know, I'm such a trouble maker. Laurie always opens old wounds...
).

If you don't feel like talking about it, then please just let me say I hope it all came out right for you and the customer in the end.

And BTW - I love your scrim work. It is really beautiful. You're very talented, and I can't wait until I can afford to order a knife for Gary from you!
