My sweet little Peaches (Yes, I still have my Christmas tree up).



The next couple are a bit light as the sun was coming in the window but I like them.




Trying to get away before mom figures out who knocked the toy basket over.


The toy of choice!


Whew... I'm pooped out now. I need a rest!


Where are my shoes? None of these will fit MEEe!


Peaches is enjoying her favorite Christmas movie!


Maxx is wondering what he can get into next.

Here are a couple of pictures of my sweet, precious buddy boy Jake, who lost his fight for life last September. I just found these on my camera. They were taken within a week or two before he died.

I love your cats!! They are so fluffy and beautiful.

(And I just took my Christmas Tree down on Monday, but in all fairness it was only a week after I got home).

OMG what Gorgeous Kitty's!!! I just want to Hug and Cuddle them!! ((but with my allergies they'd kill me
)). There Beautiful anyway!

I know, huh? (Peaches and Sev) And as far as Jake looking good. He really didn't look bad, did he? That was part of what was so hard. He actually looked a lot better (to the naked eye) then he really was. If you look close in the first picture though, you can see some black/blue through his fur. That was from his liver failing.

Thanks! But really they wouldn't bother you anymore then the 3 cats you already have! After all, it's the dander not the actual fur that produces allergic response!

Really.. cuz I know if I cuddle with King before I take my Allergy Meds I can feel his hair sticking to my face and then I got to sleep from there ((its the only thing that helps))... [[and Bunnies! oh I love bunnies to death but I cant be around them cause of my allergies]].

lol... no, I mean I always thought it was the access Shed Hair that bothered my Allergies... although I could have been wrong.

I think part of what makes Maxx so attractive is his playful, naughty disposition and his stunning markings. Thanks for the compliments!

Ok I get it now!
It's kind of an old wives tale that it is the fur people are allergic too. Here is what it says on a site about Pet Dander:

"Cat allergen is not actually cat hair, but a protein present in the dander and saliva of cats. The allergens become airborne as microscopic particles which, when inhaled into the nose or lungs, can produce allergic symptoms. Cat allergen is particularly sticky and is carried on clothing."

Now that said... some cats produce more dander then others. It just depends on the cat. An over groomer will more likely produce more dander then a cat who doesn't groom or lick as much. So there you have it! Today's lesson on cat allergies and dander!
