Utoh!...worried....\t

I just noticed Cricket's little private area spot. It does not look right to me.

Even more so when I look at Coconut and Cumi's areas... both have healed fine and their little "area" does NOT look like this..

Hope you can get a good idea of what it looks like...

We had all the kits neutered/spayed on the 9th of this month, so it has been almost a week to the day.

Should I take him into the vet tomorrow?

It does not smell or seem to hurt him..he is eating, drinking, pee/poo fine.

There is no puss or any other discharge...just this big red thing..like is his insides coming back out of the tiny cut they made?
The other side you see has healed fine.

Thoughts?

am not very good with this sort of thing, as i have only female kitty's! from previous experience, i'd say it doesn't look right, & if i were you then i'd get him checked over by the vet. just to be on the safe side

thank you for replying xladyx
I am guessing everyone thinks I am crazy by asking if this looks bad (because it does look bad!) since no one else is responding...

There's no place like home
I've had a lot a male neuters and I've not seen that before. Perhaps call the vet for advice to decide if you need an appointment. I wouldn't ignore it.

Yeah, I agree about seeing the vet. I've not seen that on any of the male kitties I've had after they were nurtured. Hope he is ok.

Sorry - just read this. It definitely looks not right to me on that one side. Best to get the vet's opinion, just to be sure!

I would definitely go back to the vet to have that checked out. Doesn't look normal to me. Good luck - give Cricket some scritches for me.

That doesn't look right. It looks infected to me. He needs to go to the vet ASAP.

Aww the poor baby
I must admit you could hardly tell my Jack had been neutered even after a couple of hours after surgery.

I hope everythings ok, but sending him lots of healthy, healing

Poor little guy

He may have popped his stitches or something. I agree that he should go to the vet if he hasn't already. Please let us know what you find out!
