Favourite styles of MUSIC?

Sooooo...what are everyone's favs as music goes?

We love a little bit of every type of music! Can't really pinpoint it to one type...
But our favorite is the type of music that gets your adrenaline flowing

Progressive, rock and metal. I like complexity and a bit more to the lyrics (if there are any) then just a catchy chorus.
Next to that I would have to say black metal, even better if it's a bit progressive too.

I love Classic Rock! But I also like the new metalcore and hardcore bands that are out there.

I like all kinds of music except RAP!

My favourite music is rock/metal.

I also enjoy many Japanese musicians. Basically everything from blues to jazz to country to classical to island to techo to classics to soft/hard rock to disco to different eras to music from various countries/artists/genres/languages....etc. etc. etc.

It depends on the day and what mood I'm in. Sometimes it's blues, other times it thrash metal. However, I'm always in the mood for progressive metal or 80's rock.

I too like everything but rap....it depends on my mood.

Classical music can put me to sleep easily, which isn't a bad thing necessarily!

Am I the only one who likes rap? Actually, not so much as HipHop and yes there is a difference.

No, you're not alone Nat. I listen to rap every once in a while.

My favorite would have to be country. I love it. I also like hip hop and punk "pop" I guess it's called - Bands like Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco, and My Chemical Romance.

I like almost every style of music, even some rap, but I favor alot of instrumental stuff but don't like jazz. Go figure!
My favorite is The Crystal Method-man, I love their stuff. It's called breakbeat, kind of like an off shoot of Trance, which I also love to listen to.

I like all different types of music!!! Kinda on a country kick right now though!!

70's rock--Emerson, Lake and Palmer, Fleetwood Mac, Electric Light Orchestra, Pink Floyd.
80's new wave/rock too!

Classic Rock and R&B all the way.

i mainly listen to "screamo" closely followed by hardcore and i dont mind the occassional top 40...but VERY rarely!!

Metal, punk, ska, classical.....pretty much everything but country.
I absolutely love Yoko Kanno's stuff

Rock
Progresive rock
Classical
New age
JAZZ!
Of course some in spanish
and just only POP of the 80´s!
